Cleo3 doesn't work anymore

well the other day i was putting in some new mods 4 my gta(sa) and one of them froze. It was so bad that i had to shutdown the computer manually. When i tried to go back on gta, it maked it all the way to the end of the loading screen, goes black like it's about to start, then i get a gta_sa_compact.exe has has encountered a problem message. When i uninstall cleo3 it works fine. I'm familiar with cleo and how to install it, but this problem has me confused. i uninstalled everything..i mean everything and started fresh, but it still happens. it even happens on different computers.

Try to delete the gta_sa.set file in your Documents\GTA SA directory.

still crashes...the .set comes back everytime it crashes, i start it it crashes i got back to .set and its back in the User Files
