GTA SA Special Character Crash

I don't know where to get the log, but I can describe it as best as I can... When I play Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (V1.0 US) (yes, Seemann, I have used the GTA compact exe.) It will crash my game if I use a special actor. It's the default one, it's that anime girl that comes with the skin selector. I have reinstalled San Andreas, the skin selector, and CLEO 3 itself. Anyone know a fix?
