Its possible if there's a registry key pointing to the game folder. But I don't know what this key is.

I mean, will all SA users with licensed game have this registry entry:

I guess there should be another entry somewhere at the "HKLM\SOFTWARE" registry partition..

The GTA SA setup puts that there. More reliable than setup info, as someone could remove setup info.
