Hey i need help my cleo library wont run and ive tried the compact exe and ive got version 1.00 eu

EDIT : Ive found the problem! Silly me was clicking on the normal sa.exe instead of compact.exe but this topic was very helpful! BTW I had to use the alternate loader!

EDIT 2 : Ok I need help again this time the cleo library has made my gamesave a new game so i have to start all over again and im not happy so if anyone has got a gamesave on the beginning of the second island or can help me sort this out it would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!

Here's my problem.

The first time I installed CLEO 3, and tried to load my game, it crashed halfway through the loading bar.

I uninstalled it, but ever since then my game has never gotten past that point. I've reinstalled it several times, and tried almost every variation of every file that has been linked to in this thread, none of which have helped. Even the compact.exe doesn't make a difference. Same crash, same point.

So what's happened? Why did initially installing this program cause my game to crash irrevocably every time afterwards, regardless of whether the program was currently installed or not?

I'm running version 1.00 on Windows XP, and this is the first time I've had a problem with it.

Try to uninstall the game, after select different path to instalation.

I find also it's not possible to pin the compact.exe to the start menu, so I had to make a shortcut and drag it onto the start button. Just in case anyone else was having this problem. The game would not work til I did this.

i can't open the compact.exe for gta sa could someone plz tell me what the code to open it is

also i can't get gta to load the game menu bc it stops reesponding and the screen goes black

compact.rar is a WinRar archive. www.winrar.com
password CVehicle (CV in caps)
unrar in the gta_sa directory and run and usual.

@Seemann - i have same prob with vorbis files but when i try to start game tells me that my version not supported i got downgraded v2.0 to 1.0 any ideas

Hi, I've been have lots of lots of trouble trying to get cleo 3 working properly. I finally got it working on single player mode with the emergency light mod v5. My actual problem is that when I try to run my game with SA:MP, it would crash and give me an error before the loading bar even appears.

How can I get the emergency light mod v5 working?

Help will be much appreciated. Thanks

You should know that cheaters can't use scripts in SAMP

It's not a cheat or any mod that suppose to give me advantages in game. I play on a RP server and they allow mods such as emergency light mods for the emergency service vehicle to look more realistic to the person who is playing.

Problem that you are talking about doesn't look like a CLEO 3 bug:crazy:
Probably, an Emergency lights script dosn't work with SAMP=)

hi all just installed gta sa v1 with gta no cd mod hoodlum) but when i try installing cleo 3 it loads the game but the 95% through it stops and takes me back to desktop have tried auto install and manual install still not working have also tried the compact exe option still doesnt work need help please realy want to try out these mods smile

Cleo crashes my GTA ,
Ive try the GTA non cd crack and
sa_compact but it still doesnt works.

I think its a problem of my GTA version
because it says undifined version when i use downgrader

All symptoms are "It crash my game" and "I tired above re-installing game" known.
It`s treated by:
1. Installing CLEAR game and UPDATING ALL DRIVERS (including video and audio).
2. Updating Visual C++ (it`s on the game disk)
3. Rebooting a pc. Sometimes it`s helping...

You in the main menu in the bottom left corner have yellow inscription CLEO 3?

I habbe me Cleo 3 library installed it the gta folder but if I'll go into the game it loads the not at, but I habbe a V2 can you please show me from playing, say, write where I can download the cleo folder for v2 please ? ah and I habbe EU version, please help me! apologizes for these incomprehensible words Maybe I'm doing everything by the Germans and google translator! ^^

Does anyone know how to get this working on San andreas multiplayer, I have version 1.0 the orginal from the cd, I don't use any cracks. I bought the game when it first comes out, When i replace the 2 dlls and i go to load up sa-mp it crashes. Is there some modified dlls or somthing that make it work for sa-mp, I wanna use the emgerncey lights mod. I have tried it with No scirpts installed and it does the same thing. it works fine in single player, Just dosen't work on sa-mp i have to put the orginals dlls in the dir to make sa-mp work

PLZZZZ HELP ME i have download the last CLEO thats out sad okay i opend it in myh gta sa folder not the user one sad THAN HE CREAETS HIS ONE FILE named (CLEO) in that file stand a lot of things okay when i star the game somthing comes up : gta_sa.exe has encountered a problem ands need to close:mad: =(what do i need to do reply fast plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz other wise il never be able to run desing your own mission v4.0 cry

I Have the same issue, I have 1.0 EU version and I cant even start my game after installing CLEO 3. Ive done it all right, have had friends try and help me but i always end up crashing.

All i want to use is the Emergency Light mod is this too much to ask?

Yeah Seemann my gta sa compact from ur link it dont work i have the same problem that mitch had i installed cleo right but its with ur compact and it dont work
