It also doesn´t work for me. i installed GTA SA from Disk and install cleo 3 via the installer.
Installed the CLEO libary.
I downloaded the PortalGun from http://www.gtagaming.com/downloads/author/Ryosuke
I put the .cs file in C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\CLEO\
Then i downloaded compact.rar, extracted to my GTA game folder (C:/Program Files/Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas/).
when i start game, cleo is activated correctly(left bottom there is written CLEO 3 or sth. like that).
Then i start a new game and i type "PORTAL". Then the game says "Cheat Activated" like the normal cheats.
I have a weapon and first shoot with left-click to a wall. the second shoot is on another wall with middle-click.
BUT when i click the middle-button of the mouse, the second circle appears but the game really lags. You can´t move can´t do anything. you can only watch with i think 2 FPS.
When i uninstall CLEO 3 then the game works Perfect.

I tried all gta_sa.exe i found on gamecopyworld.com and the gta_sa_compact.exe. the same result as i wrote above.
I also tried the ASI-Loader but always happens the same.

And i have gta v1.0 EU and US(US only the gta_sa.exe)

Hope you can help me

EDIT: Only the PortalGun doesnt work. all other .cs files that i downloaded work fine

Bumping a year old thread

anyway, I have version 1.0 EU ( I am pretty shure )
I am running windows 7.
My Sa crashes when the cleo folder and the cleo ASI. (or whatever the additional file is) is in my SA directory, yet when I Delete them my SA run's fine.

When I tried to open compact.rar it told me VORBISFILL.DLL is missing, cannot open.

So what exactly am I supposed to do here?

( I am not using a NOCD crack, just the normal CD, to clarify )

You have to open the compact.rar with WinRAR or 7-zip(this one is free)
then you have to extract the gta_sa_compact.exe and put it into your ..../rockstar games/GTA San Andreas   Folder. Then launch it from there

if you find a vorbisfile.dll in your sa directory then nothing is missing. But if you cant find it then let me know

me too i have the same problems cleo.asi makes my game crash could it be possible that it only works with vista instead of xp or 7 or anything else?

I'm sorry, but I seriously won't read all the replies.

I've installed CLEO 3 with the auto installer, with no plugins or anything.
I'm using SA:MP, and when it's almost done loading on the second screen, it crashes.

Don't know what to do.

I'm also using CLEO mod ELM v8

By the way, I have Windows Vista x64

Cleo 3 doesnt work for me, when i install it as soon as I try to play the game crashes and i have v1.0 of gta sa.

Umm this is my little problem when i have that compact.rar (Cleo it's not working without) it asks that password i put that Pass what is in post 15th and it says it's wrong what is the problem. I hope so much that someone could tell me is there a new pass or that what i do wrong.

Hey i'm sorry about the doublepost but could someone help me in the problem i put the right password but here is the problem in picture. I hope someone is nice and could help me. Now i send two pictures from imageshack and that is my problem.  Problem and other Problem pic 2.  Oh and don't be confused of that language in my computer it's finnish so that käynnistä is Start Edellinen is Previous, Etsi is Find or somthing.

i am having to same problem when i play my gta sa with oiut cleo 3 it works but when i install the cleo 3 and play it with cleo 3 the game does not statr up and when i uninstall cleo 3 the game works i have windows 7 is there a way i can use cleo 3 with windows 7

Well, I downloaded your compact GTA, and I have windows 7 (if it helps). The game works fine in singleplayer, but when I try to run sa-mp it crashes almost instantly. I only have 1 script it, and when I took it out. It finished loading but when it got to the server it crashed, so if you could help, that'd be awesome

I have a problem with CLEO 3 Library,I'll try to describe the problem:
First,I downgraded my GTA to V1.00 or V1.01.Then Downloaded the CLEO 3 library from the .rar archive,
Then Started the game and nothing opens...it just says "gta_sa has stopped working"and closes.thats my problem,Also i dont really changing things in my game just in case i make it worse,last time i did it and it worked :wow: i dont know what went wrong there.:cry: i think its because i got the bigfoot mod stuck on my game as well..=(

Uff, I got it
And it works with my favorite HOODLUM-Exe

I had to install other vorbisFile.dll and vorbisHooked.dll
I installed ASILoader from
http://Alexander.SannyBuilder.com/Files/ASILoader.rar
found the link here

I testet successful:
speed.cs (speedometer from Hard aka Shalun)
showsavescreen.cs
Pjob_1.cs (my own script, posted at gtaforums.com and here, works absulutly correct)
carrec.cs (carrec900.rrr added in GTASA\data\Paths)
everything with a loaded savegame of original main and script and also by starting new game

Review:
CLEO 3 Library (v3.0.846)  dont work on GTA SA v1 GER
not with compact-Exe and not with any other Exe and not with disabled Antivir and firewall
Also CLEO 3 of Sanny Builder 3 dont work in this case

Note to the install instruction:

Installation

To install CLEO 3 run Sanny Builder 3. You will see the word CLEO in the status bar outlined in red. Click it, read the license agreement and press the button ‘Install’.

By first start of Sanny Builder 3 after installing i could see the word CLEO in the status bar
but not outlined in red
and by click it, no license agreement appeared

I got problem with SA. I install cleo 3 and replace the compact exe. I do the all.I play the game but at the loading screen the game crashes i got version 2.00 but i downgrade to the 1.00 please help my

The game is working with cleo mods and i am using the compact version of gta sa however the game i can play but when i go to las venturas or near mulholland or in the centre of san fierro where there is supposed to be land or buildings it is just plain white and if i go into it i start falling, please someone help me to fix this problem and it is the version 1 of the game (V1)

i have added the latest cleo version and am using gta sa v.1.0 exe and my game keeps crashing after 5-10 minutes of gameplay plz help

With or without mods, CLEO 3 works fine for me. 

My config:

- gtasa_compact.exe
- CLEO 3 (most recent files, added via Sanny installation)
- Windows XP Home SP3 (32-bit)

Honestly, it sounds like most people are having problems with mods, not CLEO 3 itself.  If you want Seemann to find any sort of problem pattern, best list your GTA SA and system configs so that he can troubleshoot.

есть русские?Если дато подскажите я вот немогу установить CLEO MOD я пихнул его в дирикторию гта саи мод туда вставил включаю игру у мя пишет в нижнем левом угле CLEO 3 v3.0.950 подскажииете с ети и еще у мя не работет там ничего

Some CLEO mods support SAMP like ELM. I want ELM for ArgonathRPG, if u can send me some links... that may fix the problem that would be really helpfull. Oh and if u have a link to a GTA SA american version download -NO TORRENTS PLEASE- that would be very helpfull to

Please help, I've googled for days...

I'm running Window 7 x64 with San Andreas US 1.0 and SAMP 0.3a, When I install CLEO it crashes at about 95% on the loading bar, Then takes me to the desktop when I load SAMP. Its worked a few weeks ago but it just stopped, I need CLEO for the 'Disable Auto-Aim' mod as I use a joypad also for the ELM.

I've tried everything in this topic and others.

Please help, Its stressing me out.
